杭州高氏相机收藏馆1993.5.18由高继生.高峻岭父子创办
杭州高氏相机收藏馆是一个家族祖孙三代人,长达70多年收藏积累的成果.
早在1935年高家买进第一台相机-美国柯达SIX-20,播下了第一粒种子,1960年．高继生用平生第一个月工资买下一台德国产蔡司相机，家中已拥有20台相机。到1986年，12岁的高峻岭在北京买下来一台德国莱卡相机时，高家已经收藏了世界各国相机近200台，几十年来一家人节衣缩食，为了这个信念乐此不彼的先后在南京，苏州，杭州等地开过10家照相馆，器材店，把资金全部投入到这一事业上并发表了数以百计的古董相机论述。
1993年，我国古董相机收藏在京，津，沪，宁，杭等大中城市才刚刚起步，老外淘相机蜂拥而至时，我国古董相机源源流出了国门，为了能更多地留住老相机,1993年5月18日后，省内外三十多家媒体报道了杭州高氏相机收藏馆的匆匆诞生，展出300多台古董相机。
1999年杭州园文局发文批准杭州高氏相机收藏馆，至此，杭州高氏相机收藏馆成为我国第一家也是唯一一家文物局部门批准的照相机博物馆（收藏馆），注册藏品1100台。这在国内相机收藏界已名列前矛。
高氏藏馆设三个展览：
相机品展1100台，光仪藏品100台，著名书画家赠送作品展100幅
高氏家族因为收藏相机历史长，起步早，所以精品云集，如150多年前英国，法国，滑箱式刻名湿板相机，德国阿克发摄影镁光灯，清. 道光年间“隆茂号” 镜箱式相机，清末明初中国产“兴盛长”外拍相机，二战中德国军用莱卡，希特勒空军航空摄影镜头，重达360斤的东德国生产“蔡司耶那显微镜机”，日本侵华战争中的间谍相机，日本侵华战争时期海军用六分仪及中国1956年第一台小批量相机-车灯式“幸福”和仿制的原形机“阿尔帝萨”上海，广州，杭州, 无锡等地产的照相机样机（未投入生产）这些珍贵藏品在美，德，法，英等国也是国家级博物馆顶级精品，有些还是中国的孤品。
高氏相机收藏馆服务项目：参观-免费 ，鉴定-免费。
从1993年至今,建馆17年已经接待三十几个国家和地区28万余摄影人，收藏人前来参观交流鉴定。仅免费鉴定就达31000多台次。2005年，我们撰稿“古董相机收藏鉴赏”一书在全国出版发行。国内外500多家媒体先后报道介绍了杭州高氏相机收藏馆，“新华社” 中央电视台也发布了我们的信息。美国“世界日报”，上海“第一财经日报”， 中国青年报, 中国商报 中国艺术报, 东方早报,浙江日报, 杭州日报,浙江“文化交流”中国国际广播电台等等也大版面刊登报道介绍我们。我们是全省博物馆中规模最小，但在全省民间博物馆中，我们的知名度，发表的专业论文等方面绝对是领先了。在2009中国第十三届国际摄影艺术展览上我们成功举办了“中外相机精品展”;我们的小小博物馆已坚持了17年，一家小型博物馆日常运作经费全部由一个家庭力量承担並坚持免费参观免费鉴定6205天,我们还会继续坚持下去。为冲出浙江，面向世界。为浙江省建设文化大省而作出应有的贡献和力量.

1、参观、鉴定评估、咨询、 全部免费。
2、一对一传授保存百年的黑白照片拍摄，暗房制作技艺，用上世纪三十年代至七十年代的照相器材传授。
3、为影视剧制作、广告策划、艺术院校提供真品实物展示（清末民初、一战、二战、抗日战争、解放战争、大跃进、人民公社、文化大革命等各个时期的照相机、望远镜、电话机、电风扇、留声机、打字机及中西乐器等中上层人士用品和奢侈品。）
4、为省内外企事业单位提供“百台藏品展”和其它展品展示。
5、调剂串换二手相机古董相机。
6、继“古董相机收藏与鉴赏”一书出版后（古董相机三十六讲）涉及相机收藏还遗漏的问题给予介答，咨询、交流、切磋。
